Customers Bancorp, Inc. Expects Q4 2018 Net Interest Margin Expansion and $4 of Earnings Per Share Within 3-4 Years


WYOMISSING, PA / ACCESSWIRE / November 27, 2018 / Customers Bancorp, Inc. today provided an update on its financial outlook. Customers' CFO Carla Leibold stated "We previously indicated that our Net Interest Margin (NIM) would trough in the third quarter. I am happy to report that our NIM in the month of October exceeded 2.60%, and we are on track to report 10 basis points to 15 basis points of NIM expansion this quarter. Additionally, we expect Q4 2018 financial results to be in line with the current consensus range of $0.49 to $0.53.''

Customers CEO Jay Sidhu added "We remain committed to growing earnings per share to a $4.00 run-rate within three to four years. We will get there through NIM expansion, capital management, expense discipline, and continued improvement in profitability at both Customers Bank and BankMobile." Customers expects to update investors regularly on its quarterly earnings call on its progress towards the $4.00 earnings per share goal.
